Programme and Speakers:
The organising committee are bringing together an exciting programme of scientific international speakers, specialist concurrent sessions and poster presentations.
Plenary sessions will address key issues including consequences of current interventions, scientific breakthroughs, controversies in reproduction and an exciting ethics debate.
In addition, Society updates will feature specialist topics such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, cryopreservation of oocytes, stimulation, infection screening, gametes and maturation.
Specialist sessions tailored for the needs of Fertility Nurses and Counsellors will feature social egg freezing, adoption issues, surrogacy and donor conception, stimulated cycles, psychosexual counselling and many other topics.
Tuesday 4 January
Five-a-side football tournament, 3.00pm
five-a-side football tournament will take place from 3pm which will be followed by dinner at a nearby Indian restaurant. Coaches will transport delegates from the CCD to the tournament. Attendance is free of charge but spaces are limited so early booking is advised.
Wednesday 5 January
Exhibitor wine reception and attended poster session, 6.00pm
A welcome reception will take place in the exhibition on Wednesday evening and will be an opportunity for delegates to enjoy a glass of wine and meet and network with exhibitors.
This will also be an opportunity to view poster presentations and meet the authors.
Guinness Storehouse Tour and Supper, 8.00pm
Dublin’s premier attraction, the Guinness Storehouse opens its doors to delegates at 8.00pm, where you can experience a short tour of the venue including the fantastic Gravity Bar with 360 degree views of the city, whilst gaining an understanding of how Guinness is made and why it is so successful.
Delegates will of course get to sample Ireland’s favourite nectar, and also have the opportunity to learn how to pour the perfect pint! A buffet dinner will be provided.
Thursday 6 January
Conference dinner, 7.30pm
The conference dinner will take place at The CCD. The event will incorporate a drinks reception, three course dinner with wine, music and dancing and a distinguished after dinner speaker.
